Cocktails For A Nuclear Winter
When those bombs hit and the world is destroyed and the ensuing firestorms create enough soot to block out the sun, we will be in a nuclear winter and you know what? You need a drink.
We have curated a nice list of alcoholic cocktails perfect for getting through the apocalypse brought on by human kind.
All drinks pair perfectly with a nice game of Dukes Of Nukes.
Nuclear Meltdown
Ingredients

1/2 oz. Vodka

1/2 oz. Gin

1/2 oz. Rum (Light)

1/2 oz. Triple Sec

1/2 oz. Tequila (Optional)

Sweet & Sour Mix
-
Float of Melon Liqueur
Garnish: Cherry
Lots of alcohol is what you need! The Nuclear Meltdown is great at helping you forget where you are and maybe who you are. Its nice nuclear waste color will feel very on theme as you guzzle it down with your radiating friends.
Nuclear Daiquiri
Ingredients
- ½oz Lime Juice
- ¾oz Green Chartreuse
- ½oz Velvet Falernum
- 1oz Overproof Rum
It's just like a daiquiri, but nuclear! If you find a body of water that isn't boiling or full of floating dead fish then this drink is perfect for the occasion.
Rum Fireball
Ingredients
- ¾oz White Rum
- Dash Tabasco Sauce
- ¾oz Cinnamon Schnapps
With the sun blotted out in the nuclear winter it might get cold out. This spicy drink will heat you right back up. Best to drink as fast as possible.
Cherry Bomb
Ingredients
- 1oz Cherry Brandy
- 2oz Cherry Juice
- Top Up Pink Champagne
A little bit of a fancier drink, the Cherry Bomb is great after a long day of fighting off the gang of mutants always trying to steal you alcohol stash. Slowly sip with one pinky out. PINKY!!!
Blood And Sand
Ingredients
- ¾oz Sweet Vermouth
- ¾oz Cherry Liqueur
- ¾oz Scotch Whisky
- ¾oz Blood orange juice
It's time to sit in your arm chair, pull out a good book, ignore the sounds of screaming outside, and sip your Blood and Sand.
Atomic Fruitburst
Ingredients
- 1oz Vodka
- 1oz Peach Schnapps
- 1oz Pineapple Juice
- 1oz Midori
- 1oz Blue Curaçao
Bright green and very fruity! So easy to drink that you might not be able to stop. Just make sure the drink isn't pulsing with radiation because if it is it might not look any different.
The Blue Nuke
Ingredients
- 1 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Blue Curacao
- 1 oz Blueberry Liqueur
- 1 oz Gin
- 4 oz Sweet and Sour Mix
I predict this will be the drink of year once the world ends due to nuclear warfare. The Blue Nuke taste so fresh and goes down easy. Share it with your friends and maybe they won't betray you and take all your supplies. Best to serve them this drink and betray them first!
