The Perfect Pair Poem

Two players on the ice,

Fists flying, duking it out twice.

But when the game is done,

They're not enemies, just having fun.

They shed their gloves and helmets too,

And head on down to the bar, what will they do?

They'll sit and drink and reminisce,

About the time they beat the snot out of each other, it was really intense.

But now it's all good, they'll share a brew,

And laugh about the time they were fighting, it's all old news.

So here's to hockey, and making up after a fight,

It's all just part of the game, everything's alright.
